Comments: I am a high school swim coach and each season we give the typical "MVP" and "Most Improved" type awards - but I also give a "Coaches Award." The big awards are selected by the team members. The coaches award is selected by me. At the time of presentation, I explain that the individual receiving the coaches award is someone who has earned a spot close to my heart throughout the season based upon their effort, attitude, leadership, etc. I further advise as they have earned a spot close to my heart, I present them with the dog tag award in order for them to keep the award, and the team, as a constant reminder and close to their heart. This past year, one of my male athletes (who is a "tough kid") teared up. His parents later advised he wears the award every day with pride. |

Comments: I don't know who would get these for their pets, but they were perfect for our High Adventure Race. The youth get medals for school and sports, but who ever wears their medals around town? The dog tags were a stylish way to award the place finishers for our race, which was an Army-Ranger-type challenge. They're being worn daily! |
